  • Overview

     

    Parkland Golf & Country Club, a spectacular Toll Brothers luxury resort community seated upon a Greg Norman Golf Course Design located in southeast Florida seeks an Assistant General Manager.

    In this role, you will assist with the management of all aspects of the club, including club activities and relations between the club and the members, guests, employees, community, government, and industry. Specifically, you will assist with:

     

    • Providing the highest level of service to members and guests with the goal of enhancing the overall member experience
    • With guidance from the General Manager, Responsible for the day to day leadership of the facility by providing clear direction to all department heads
    • Communicate goals and objectives of the operation and be available, approachable and display leadership by example to others
    • Work with the General Manager on the development, completion and implementation of the annual operating budget for each department
    • Responsible for ensuring the best possible financial performance of the facility by monitoring daily operations and the total revenues and expenses of each department; make suggestions to the General Manager on ways improve operational efficiencies and promote operational excellence
    • Coordinating and administering the club's policies
    • Managing and directing the work of all department managers
    • Implementing and monitoring the budget and the quality of the club's products and services
    • Ensuring maximum member and guest satisfaction

    Qualifications

    Our ideal candidate is a sociable, outgoing manager who exceeds member expectations. We seek a manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with members daily to ensure a quality experience, and who has strong leadership skills, a positive and motivational management style, and a thorough knowledge of food & beverage standards and practices. A strong candidate will have:

    • 3-5 years of experience with semi-private or private club experience
    • Experience with the following aspects of club management: membership, sales and marketing, food and beverage (ideally $2+ Mil facility), golf operations, financial, and community relations and involvement
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong revenue generation and member-connection skills
