Toll Brothers, America’s leading builder of luxury homes seeks a National Vice President of Sales for our Corporate office located in Horsham, Pennsylvania (strongly desired).


The National Vice President of Sales will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for standing up and leading a newly-created National Sales Group, a key ingredient in promoting a culture of Sales excellence throughout Toll Brothers. As a member of the senior management team at Toll Brothers, the National Vice President of Sales will collaborate with the company leaders to set goals and strategy for the sales organization as the company continues to grow and diversify.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Establish a one, three, and five-year vision for the Sales organization
  • Advise senior leadership on Sales plans to support organization strategy and objectives
  • Define metrics/measures of Sales performance that can be used to drive improvements
  • Identify ways to optimize Sales team structures and improve Sales team culture

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Propel sales by creating processes, systems, and routines for continuous improvement
  • Recommend improvement initiatives based on market research/trends and external best practices
  • Monitor and ensure adoption of sales solutions and best practices
  • Identify ways to effectively integrate existing and new technologies with Sales processes

People and Talent Development

  • Help COO set expectations for Sales team mindsets, behaviors, and accountability
  • Coach/mentor Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and assist in ASM screening and hiring
  • Collaborate with HR to improve recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new Sales team members
  • Assist with definition of learning paths and career paths for Sales team members
  • Provide recommendations to improve compensation programs, incentive design, and Sales contests
  • Update and standardize sales roles, and assist with development and maintenance of job descriptions


  • Represent the "voice of Sales" at the corporate level to improve business outcomes
  • Establish and implement Sales policies and practices
  • Define standard processes for Sales (e.g. prospecting, relationship management, opportunity management, broker outreach, customer outreach/calls)
  • Serve as Salesforce CRM owner for Sales, deciding on IT system design and sales process design
  • Work with department leaders in Marketing, Design Studio, Architecture, and Information Technology to optimize sales-related processes and boost customer experience

  • Minimum of a 4-year degree
  • You have experience in the new homes sales industry
  • You have experience with Online Sales Concierges/Internet Sales Concierges
  • You have 10+ years of sales management experience, a proven track record for enabling Sales team success, and you have managed during ups and downs of the real estate cycle
  • You believe that people make a Sales organization work, but they can only be at their best when they have good systems and processes supporting them
  • You are tech-savvy and good at helping others see the benefits of integrating technology with Sales
  • You naturally help teams find consensus, but are a confident decision maker when consensus fails
  • You can readily switch between being 'strategic' and being 'tactical'
  • You have experience communicating with C-Suite executives
