Toll Brothers, Inc., America's Leading Luxury Home Builder, seeks a .Net Technical Project Leader to lead the development and support of various .Net Toll Brothers' internal applications. 

 

In this role, you will be involved with hands-on development to code, test, debug, document, implement and support all aspects of  the Application Life Cycle.  The ability to manage third party software including vendor relationships and internal development projects consisting of 3 +  team members is required.  You will be responsible for project status reporting to all levels within Toll Brothers.    

 

In this role, you will get to:

  • Manage Third Party Vendor Software implementations and Vendor Relationships
  • Management project teams in the support of TBI .Net applications, production support, day-to-day maintenance, application enhancements and upgrades
  • Design and develop .Net applications to meet business defined requirements
  • Fill the role of Toll Brothers' Technical Lead
  • Help to develop and enforce Portal Solutions standards and procedures
  • Provide regular status updates on projects, including progress updates and identification of technical risks & issues associated with assigned tasks
  • Provide technical guidance and training to other analysts/ programmers within the organization.
  • Stay abreast of changes in technology as it relates to software development
  • Evaluate project requirements, determine and design the best solution to a problem or feature, develop detailed specification, code, test and implement the solution when required
  • Application performance monitoring and tuning
  • Analyze, identify and troubleshoot issues encountered in production and/or reported by customers/users, by investigating and conducting in-depth research on the nature of these issues

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • B.A. in related field. Experience may be substituted for education
  • 6 - 8 years of demonstrated experience with software development lifecycle especially, application design, development and testing.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a project leadership role
  • Experience with managing Third Party Software
  • Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis and programming activities
  • Must be a team player and self starter
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a production environment
  • Ability to identify, understand and help manage business clients objectives
  • Experience supporting an enterprise wide system/application
  • Ability to address business requirements strategically
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodology

Key Technical Skills/Experience:  

  • 5 + years .Net development experience, .Net 2.0 or later preferred
  • Experience in object oriented methodologies
  • 5+ years application development experience in a Microsoft environment
  • 5+ years experience in one or more programming languages
  • Experience with Visual Studios 2008, SQL Server 2005, DTS Packages, Stored Procedures, SSIS experience
  • Knowledge of SOX Regulations
